Book Now - V8 DRIVE AND RIDE (FRONT) 4 + 3 AT SYMMONS PLAINS
On arrival you will register / sign on, explained your experience enhancement options, kitted up in your race attire, then you will be directed to the briefing room for an in depth drivers / safety briefing. Once these formalities are complete, the fun begins. You will be taken to Pit Lane where the crew will fit your helmet and strap you into the driver’s seat of a race prepared V8 Race Car, you will be in constant radio contact with your pro driver / instructor who will coach you through a drive session you will never forget, fast and precise laps around the race circuit just like a real pro, you will be amazed at the speed and the performance of our V8 race cars.
Once you have completed your driving stint, its back to the pits where you will swap over with your pro driver and be taken for 3 Hot Laps as a passenger; you will see how the professional race car drivers handle the race car.
Video Footage Available - all race cars have multiple cameras in them and you can arrange a recording of your Driving / Hot Laps on the day.
Average Duration: Please arrive at the confirmed arrival time on your confirmation. Allow approx 3 hours at the race track.
About Symmons Plains Raceway
Symmons Plains International Raceway is located on Midland Highway some 30km south of Launceston. The track is known for several interesting features including its very long back straight with a kink, its extremely tight hairpin bend at the end of the front straight and the unusual placement of the original start/finish line and grid that was on a curve. Symmons Plains recently received a $3 million upgrade. The Raceway opened in 1960 and after the closure of the Longford road circuit quickly established its own reputation as Tasmania's home of touring car and championship motor racing. Catering facilities are open on the day.

Please wear comfortable clothing and covered in shoes. The largest suit is a XXXL, so weight and height restrictions may apply.
Spectator Information
Family and friends are all very welcome to come along and share your experience with you. There is plenty of good viewing and photo opportunities at the venue. Catering facilities will be open on the day.
Weather Information
Your V8 Race Car Experience is weather dependent. If you are unsure of weather conditions on the day please call our weather number 0412 018 035. This is a recorded message explaining the conditions on the day. We recommend that you call the weather line before you leave home and throughout your journey to check for updates. Our message service is updated on an hourly basis. If a Total or Partial rain out does occur, you will receive a text message notification on the day and your booking will automatically be turned into a gift voucher, which will be emailed to you.
Other Information
Please ensure that you are at the venue at least 15mins prior to your confirmed arrival time. If you happen to be running late, please continue to the track as we will be able to place you into the session at some point. You are required to sign an indemnity on the day of your experience.
FEES for changing your booking within 14 days of you experience will apply as follows: Bookings changed within 14 days of the experience date will incur a $30 re-booking fee - Bookings changed within 7 days of the activity will incur a $50 re-booking fee - No booking changes can be made outside office hours or on the day of your experience
